![]()
Titre : Development and Evaluation of an Educational Demonstrator for a Novel E-bike Motor with ECVT System Type de document : Travail de fin d'études Auteurs : Bernard CARTUYVELS, Auteur ; Antoine DE CROMBRUGGHE, ; Antoine Boucquey, Editeur : ECAM Année de publication : 2024 Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Conception de produits Index. décimale : TFE - Electromécanique Résumé : This thesis presents the evaluation and development of a demonstrator aimed at elucidating the operation and advantages of a newly introduced type of e-bike motor equipped with an Electronically Controlled Variable Transmission (ECVT) system developed by E2 Drives. In addition to facilitating understanding, the demonstrator serves the dual purpose of promoting consumer interest and driving sales of the innovative motor. The study begins with a comprehensive review of relevant literature to identify best practices for designing and implementing effective demonstrators, including an examination of competitor products in the market. Based on this analysis, a functional exploded model of the motor is selected as the demonstrator prototype. Subsequent chapters detail the mechanical design process employed to create the demonstrator, outlining the iterative stages of design refinement and optimization. Additionally, a dedicated chapter discusses the methodology and design considerations involved in developing the software to control the motor's operation, ensuring a good interactivity between the user and the demonstrator. The thesis culminates in a discussion of the testing procedures undertaken to enhance the demonstrator's educational efficacy and attractiveness.
