Analysis of the mechanical characteristics of the material used for 3D concrete printing and finite element analysis / Cyprien De Boeck
Titre : Analysis of the mechanical characteristics of the material used for 3D concrete printing and finite element analysis Type de document : Travail de fin d'études Auteurs : Cyprien De Boeck, Auteur ; Benoît Meulewaeter, ; Wiliam Gilson, Editeur : ECAM Année de publication : 2020 Note générale : BESIX Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : TFE - Construction Résumé : Concrete material already has a long career which leads it to innovate. The 3D concrete printing is the evolution of techniques known to all on the use of this material. Until today, very little research has been done on the mechanical characteristics and the influence of the printing process on the material used. This is why this project is part of a series of works already carried out on the subject in order to better understand the influence of the use of a printer to build in concrete.
This work takes up the current state of the art of 3D printing followed by the analysis of tests. Those tests have been carried out on the printed material in order to derive its mechanical characteristics. To conclude this work, a finite element analysis of the samples under load has been conducted in order to better understand geometrically the influence of the shapes produced by the extrusion of material during printing.Analysis of the mechanical characteristics of the material used for 3D concrete printing and finite element analysis [Travail de fin d'études] / Cyprien De Boeck, Auteur ; Benoît Meulewaeter, ; Wiliam Gilson, . - ECAM, 2020.
